Before coffee, the Mello family worked in film and advertising. In 2015, Clóvis Mello’s spiritual journey to Assisi inspired a new path. It was one he soon shared with his son Felipe, who had already turned to organic farming.
Their shared dream of growing coffee "only if it was organic"; led them to Carmo de Minas, where Terra de São Francisco was born. With Felipe leading the farm and Clóvis supporting every step, they set out to produce coffee in harmony with nature.
After Felipe’s passing, Clóvis and his wife continued the work in his honour. Today, the farm reflects their deep love, care, and commitment to organic, sustainable coffee. This lot is a beautiful expression of that vision, layered with notes of strawberry, milk chocolate and grapefruit, and a bright, clean finish.
